How do I return or exchange an Item?

Berty & Gerty Ltd can offer a refund or exchange on any item (excluding hosiery and pierced jewellery) that you are not completely happy with provided that you post it back to us in saleable condition with the return form completed and enclosed in your return parcel within 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF GOODS. You have 7 working days from when your ordered parcel was signed for to post it back to us. The post office date stamp will be proof of your posting within the 7 working days time policy.

If you pass the 7 days return time you will be offered another 21 days for an exchange only. After the 28 days has passed the item cannot be returned or exchanged. The customer will pay the postage cost for the exchanged item

Items must be returned at your own cost. We regret that Berty & Gerty Ltd cannot refund the cost of postage.

Once the returned goods have been received we will process your refund to the card from which the original payment was made.

Returns cannot be made without a return form. Please email: sales@bertyandgerty.co.uk for your form.

Cancellation or Amendment of orders?

Online items are selected, packed and dispatched from our head office warehouse, once you have submitted an order we cannot make any amendments as they are already posted to you. However you can still return items if you are unhappy with them once they arrive. Please read returns.

What reasons will Berty & Gerty Ltd allow an item to be returned?

  • ALL ORIGINAL BERTY & GERTY TAGS MUST BE ATTACHED
  • ALL ITEMS MUST BE UNWORN
  • ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION AS THEY WERE RECIEVED

ITEMS ARE IN A SALEABLE CONDITION

What reasons will Berty & Gerty Ltd not allow an item to be returned?

  • ORIGINAL TAGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED
  • TAGS HAVE BEEN 'RE-ATTACHED' BY CUSTOMERS
  • ITEMS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN WORN OR HAVE ANY ODOURS
  • ITEMS ARE NOT IN A SALEABLE CONDITION
  • ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNED BY POST

ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNED WITHIN THE FIXED 7 WORKING DAYS

IMPORTANT: When returning items to Berty & Gerty Ltd by post it is recommended that you use recorded mail, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss in the post. By using a recorded mail service you should then be able to make a loss claim on the items lost and be reimbursed by the mail service provider. You will need to check the policy of the mail service provider you are using

Can I pick up my purchases from the Berty & Gerty shop?

IMPORTANT NOTE: GOODS PURCHASED ONLINE CANNOT BE REFUNDED OR COLLECTED IN STORES AND GOODS PURCHASED IN STORES CANNOT BE REFUNDED ONLINE OR POSTED THROUGH ONLINE.
