Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use
Please read these conditions carefully before using the Berty & Gerty Ltd website and before placing your order. By using this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
Security
When placing an order by credit or debit card, your details are handled by us on a secure server, and this offers a good level of security.
Once you have purchased we will send you an email confirming receipt of order. If you have incorrectly filled in your address or email details your confirmation email and delivery will fail.
Ordering
All new customers will be asked to register with Berty and Gerty ltd. This information will be kept securely on our system.
Firstly, click on the item you wish to buy, then selecting the particular item in your chosen size, colour etc… Click on the buy icon. You can view the shopping bag to see your chosen item and then pay or continue shopping for other accessories. We only accept orders placed online over the internet.
Your order can be amended if the items have not been dispatched. You will have to email us with you order number. If the items have been dispatched we will not be able to amend the order.
We only accept credit or debit cards (Visa, Master Card, Maestro, Delta, Solo or Electron) at this time.
Unfortunately mistakes can happen. Sometimes a customer will receive an order and an item Is missing. Please e-mail us within 7working days of receipt quoting your name, full address. Order number and the missing item. Likewise, if you have received the wrong item please contact us within 7 working days and we will investigate these matter further.
Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order and obtain a full refund, if you contact us within 24 hours and before the item(s) have been dispatched.
Post and packaging.
Full valid Postcodes are required for us to deliver your purchase to the correct address. If you don’t provide the correct information, we do not accept responsibility for the failure to deliver your order.
Delivery Policy
Berty and Gerty ltd does not make a profit on Postage and Packaging.
Items are only dispatched once payment has been approved.
We strive to dispatch your order within 3 working days, however, orders may take up to 7 days to be dispatched. At busy times of the year orders may take up to 14 days to be dispatched
All orders will be dispatched using recorded delivery. The delivery charges start as follows:

Delivery charges may increase as everything is charged by weight.
You must sign for your parcel, otherwise, we will not be held responsible for your order.
Damaged and tracking parcels
If your goods are damaged in transit you must contact us within 24 hours. If you have signed for the goods in receipt of ‘good condition’ on receiving the package then we will not an exchange or give a credit note. When returning faulty goods to Berty and Gerty Ltd we recommend you use a recorded delivery service for your own protection. We cannot accept liability for an item in transit. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If you haven’t received your order after 7 days of purchase please contact us for a tracking number.
Prices and product details
We try to ensure that the information shown on the website is as accurate as possible when posted.
We accept the following cards: Visa, Visa delta, solo card, via electron, master card.
Return policy
Berty and Gerty Ltd will only exchange non-faulty goods.
We can only exchange items for a different size or colour. If you require a different product you will need to place a new order online.
Berty and Gerty Ltd will not accept returns of non faulty products.
This return policy is for the website only. Products cannot be refunded or exchanged to our other outlets if purchased from the website.
Faulty goods
All Berty and Gerty products are checked under quality control before being dispatched.
Faulty items can be returned if unworn. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Exchanges are possible if the item is available.
You must email or contact Berty & Gerty Ltd within 24 hours of delivery if goods are Faulty and will be returned within 7 days of purchases, in their original packaging. You must write a full explanation of why the product is faulty. We will either replace or alternatively, you can request a Berty and Gerty Ltd ‘credit note’ that can be used against future purchases at Berty and Gerty Ltd.
Your Account
It is your responsibility to keep your personal details that occur under your account and password confidential. We will not be held responsible for your inability to keep your personal details secret.

All content included on the website, such as, trademark, text, graphics, logo, pictures are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.
Berty and Gerty Ltd shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Berty and gerty Ltd products on this site or the performance of the products, even if Berty and Gerty Ltd has been advised of the possibility of damages. You are responsible for using Berty and gerty Ltd products in the manner they are intended to be used for; Berty and Gerty can not be held responsible for improper use of any of the products on bertyandgerty.co.uk. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold secure Berty and Gerty ltd terms and conditions against any violation or any negligent activity from wrongful conduct related to your account on bertyandgerty.co.uk by you or any person accessing your personal; any resulting problems you will be held responsible for losses, expense, damages and costs, including solicitor’s fees; resulting from your actions. Berty and Gerty Ltd will not be held responsible for your negligence.
